The need for change:
The Government fully supports the aims and objectives of apprenticeships and is committed to the following targets:

  • 2010/11 - 40,000 new apprentice recruited
  • 2013 - All suitably qualified young people guaranteed an apprenticeship place
  • 2010 - 1 in 5 young people on an apprenticeship

To maximise the opportunities available for young people and employers there is a genuine need for training organisations to be employer led and customer focused. Prospects Training Solutions will: Respond to employer business needs and adopt innovative approaches to provide apprenticeship training that is fit for business purpose, flexible, of high quality and value for money.

Prospects Training Solutions will assist organisations requiring new recruits. We offer an easier, cost effective option providing suitable apprentices, matching employer's needs with suitable young people.

Prospects Training Solutions can deliver training for company's employees or can employ the apprentices on a company's behalf, managing all associated human resources issues. In this case the partner company simply pays Prospects Training Solutions the agreed apprentice salary plus a service charge.

The apprentices training and development will be the responsibility of Prospects Training Solutions in partnership with the employer and they will receive expect training and work based assessment.

Our customer service team will work closely with the employer and students offering support and guidance throughout the apprenticeship programme. Dedicated employer engagement staff will act as a link between the employer and Prospects Training Solutions.
