What - Level 3 Apprenticeship
Where - Prospects College, Southend or Basildon
Who - Able and motivated 16-24 year olds, employed in the bench joinery industry and are capable of completing an apprenticeship at Level 3.
When - 2 Years (on day release basis)
WHAT DO I NEED?
A Level 2 Apprenticeship, you must also be employed in the industry of your chosen subject.
WHAT QUALIFICATION WILL I RECEIVE?
Level 3 full construction apprenticeship comprising of:
Construction Diploma Level 3, NVQ3 and Functional Skills qualifications in English, Maths and ICT.
WHAT WILL I STUDY?
You will combine practical learning in our workshops with theory sessions in your chosen vocational area.
HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
Each qualification within the apprenticeship framework is assessed through ongoing demonstration of your practical skills and theory assessments. Some units of the qualification require an online external assessment. Functional Skills courses are assessed by a final written examination.
WHAT CAN I DO AFTERWARDS?
After successful completion of the course you can progress to higher education.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
For 16-18 year old students apprenticeships are fully funded. For 19+ students an employer contribution is required.
