Level 2 Engineering

INTRODUCTION TO COURSE

Students can study the Diploma in Engineering and Technology in Year 11.

WHAT QUALIFICATION WILL I RECEIVE:

EAL Diploma in Engineering and Technology (Level 2).

WHICH CAMPUS:

Southend and Basildon.

ATTENDANCE:

Two days a week in Year 11.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Students should have achieved the Certificate in Engineering and Technology or have the potential to achieve 4 GCSE’s at grades A* - C.

COURSE ASSESSMENT:

This qualification is assessed throughout the course through individual assignments and some on-line examinations set in accordance with the criteria stated by the awarding body.

COURSE PROGRESSION:

Students can progress onto Level 2 Post-16 courses including Apprenticeships
