LEVEL
2 APPLIED LEARNING IN CONSTRUCTION
INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE
This Level
2 course has been designed to allow students who are interested in the construction
industry to understand the various roles within it. This course is largely theoretical
but some practical units have been selected.
WHAT QUALIFICATION WILL I RECIEVE:
Edexcel
BTEC First Diploma in Construction.
WHICH CAMPUS:
Southend
and Basildon.
ATTENDANCE:
You can
study this course in a variety of formats: One day a week in Year 10 and one
day a week in Year 11 Two days a week in Year 11
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Students
should have an interest in the construction industry and a commitment and
willingness to learn. Students should either have completed the City &
Guilds 6218 or have the potential to achieve 4 GCSE at A* - C including English
and Maths.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
This
qualification is assessed by the tutors throughout the course. Assessments are designed
to meet the criteria stated by the awarding body.
COURSE PROGRESSION:
Students
can progress onto the Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Construction or an
Apprenticeship.
