INTRODUCTION TO COURSE
This
Level 1 course has been designed to allow students the opportunity to learn, develop
and practise the skills required for employment in the engineering sector.
WHAT QUALIFICATION WILL I
RECEIVE:
EAL
Certificate in Engineering and Technology.
WHICH CAMPUS:
Southend
and Basildon.
ATTENDANCE:
Two days
a week in Year 10.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Students
should have an interest in engineering, coupled with commitment and willingness
to learn.
COURSE ASSESSMENT:
This
qualification is assessed throughout the course through individual assignments and
some on-line examinations set in accordance with the criteria stated by the awarding
body.
COURSE PROGRESSION:
Students
can prog ress onto the Diploma in Engineering and Technology in Year 11 (Level 2).
