AIMS:
The main aim of this knowledge based qualification is to allow practising electricians, operating in the domestic environment, to gain an understanding of how electrical installations in dwellings must comply with all Building Regulations.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the course delegrates will:

• Have an understanding of Building Regulations, including Part P
• Have an understanding of requirements and procedures associated with Building Control
• Have an understanding of the competent persons scheme

DURATION:        
1 day including an online examination.

ASSESSMENT:            
Open book 40 minute online GOLA multiple choice examination.

ACCREDITATION:

Successful candidates will receive the City and Guilds level 3 Certificate in the Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings.
