COURSE SUMMARY:
The main aim of this knowledge based qualification is to allow practising electricians, operating in the domestic environment, to gain an understanding of how electrical installations in dwellings must comply with all Building Regulations.

By the end of the course delegrates will:

  • Have an understanding of Building Regulations, including Part P
  • Have an understanding of requirements and procedures associated with Building Control
  • Have an understanding of the competent persons scheme

ASSESSMENT:            
Multiple choice examination.

ACCREDITATION:

City and Guilds Certificate in the Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings.

City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations .
