Level 2 Certificate in Fundamental Inspection,
Testing & Initial Verification
COURSE SUMMARY:
This qualification has been developed in conjunction with the electrical industry (including the NICEIC and ECA) in order to meet the needs of the industry and to provide candidates with an introduction in how to inspect and test (conduct the initial verification) electrical installations.
It is aimed at both practising electricians and those working in allied trades who have not carried out inspection and testing or require some update training before going on to achieve the C&G Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations (2391-10).
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the course delegates will:
· Be able to fully acknowledge the BS 7671 requirements for inspection, testing and initial verification
· Have knowledge of the information required to correctly conduct the inspection and testing of a new installation
· Be aware of the statutory and non-statutory requirements and relevant guidance material which apply to inspection, testing and initial verification
· Be aware of the information contained on forms and how this information should be recorded
