AIM:
This Level 3 course is aimed at practising electricians with relevant experience and is intended to ensure that they comply with the format, content and applications of the requirements for the regulations.
The aims of this qualification are to:
· Meet the needs of candidates who work in the Building Services Engineering sector such as Electricians, and who need to be able to demonstrate knowledge of the IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations Scope, Object and Fundamental Principles
· Update candidates with additions and changes to BS7671 since the last edition
· Act as an update certificate from 16th to 17th Edition.
ENTRY REQUIRMENTS:
Delegates must have achieved one of the following qualifications in order to attend this UPDATE course: C & G 2381, C & G 2330-07, C & G 2330-08 or C & G 2360-04 Part 2.
At time of booking you will be required to show proof of your existing qualification and will need to supply Prospects with a copy of your certificate in order to comply with City & Guilds verification. Failure to do this will result in you not being able to attend the course.

ASSESSMENT:
Online multiple choice examination - duration 1 hour. This is an OPEN BOOK exam.
Candidates will be required to bring a non-programmable calculator for use on the exam. In the event that candidates need to re-sit the examination, additional C & G Examination Fees will be applicable.

2 Days plus examination on a separate day
