AIM:
The 17th Edition BS 7671 IEE Wiring Regulations is to be published in January 2008 and will come into force fully on the 1st July 2008.
This Level 3 course is aimed at practising electricians with relevant experience and is intended to ensure that they comply with the format, content and applications of the requirements for the Electrical Installations BS7671:2008 (17th Edition).
The aims of this qualification are to:
- Meet the needs of candidates who work in the Building Services Engineering sector such as Electricians, and who need to be able to demonstrate knowledge of the IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations Scope, Object and Fundamental Principles
- Replace the City & Guilds Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:June2001 (2381)Definitions

Online multiple choice examination - duration 2 hours. This is an OPEN BOOK exam
Candidates will require to bring a non-programmable calculator for use on the exam
In the event that candidates need to resit the examination, additional C & G Examination Fees will be applicable
DURATION:
3 Days plus examination on a separate day
