AIM:

The City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology is a technical certificate that provides the underpinning knowledge required to work in the Electrical Industry.

COURSE CONTENT:

• Lighting Circuits, wired in Singles, Twin & Earth, MICC & FP200 cables
• Power Circuits, wired in Singles and Twin & Earth cables
• Motors, both 3-phase and 1-phase
• Health & Safety
• The Wiring Regulations

Please note: All delegates wishing to attend this particular course will be required to attend the college for an online numeracy and literacy assessment prior to the course start.

 
ASSESSMENT:

The course is split into four on-line and two practical examinations, which have to be achieved to complete the full certificate.

DURATION:                    
10 months. The course is run on either a day release basis, two evening sessions per week or on a Saturday
