This programme provides the underpinning knowledge in electrotechnology and safety needed for anyone planning to take up a career in the electrical industry.

COURSE CONTENT:

• Lighting Circuits, wired in Singles, Twin & Earth, MICC & FP200 cables
• Power Circuits, wired in Singles and Twin & Earth cables
• Motors, both 3-phase and 1-phase
• Health & Safety
• The Wiring Regulations

Please note: All delegates wishing to attend this particular course will be required to attend the college for an online numeracy and literacy assessment prior to the course start.

 
ASSESSMENT: 

Practical and Theory tests

DURATION:                    
10 months. The course runs on two evening sessions per week .
