What will I achieve from an Apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships or Advanced Apprenticeships are a practical way to achieve qualifications in the career of your choice.  At the end of the course you will achieve:

• Skills, knowledge and practical experience
• A National Vocational Qualification (NVQ), Level 2 for an Apprenticeship, or Level 3 for an Advanced Apprenticeship
• Key Skills qualifications, including problem-solving, working in teams, communication and using new technology
• A technical certificate such as a BTEC National Diploma or a City & Guilds Progression Award (included in most Apprenticeships)
• Additional qualifications or requirements that are important for your chosen occupation
